Insurance

While we encourage payment for services as they are provided, our Business Office will file your insurance claims for you. All of our physicians are Participating Providers in the Medicare program, and they also participate in most of the major managed care plans in the metropolitan area.


If you are a member of a managed care plan, there are certain features common to these plans of which you should be aware. First, you will usually be responsible for a co-payment due at the time of your visit. Second, many plans require a referral from your primary care physician in order for your visit to a specialist be covered.


It is your responsibility to secure the proper referrals, and failure to do so can result in your insurance company denying your claim. In such situations you are responsible for all charges.
