Asim Razzaq, M.D.


Dr. Asim Razzaq is the most recent physician to join the staff of St. Louis Urological Surgeons. Dr. Razzaq was born in Birmingham, England and raised in the St. Louis suburb of Town and Country. He attended undergraduate school at St. Louis University, from which he graduated in 1988. He received his medical degree from St. Louis University in 1992, and served as a post-doctoral research fellow at the Northwestern University School of Medicine.


Dr. Razzaq completed his training with residencies in General Surgery and urology at the University of Illinois at Chicago from 1993 to 1999. He served as Administrative Chief Resident during the last year of training. Dr. Razzaq is board certified in urology.


Dr. Razzaq practices general urology, and has special interests in Robotic Surgery and minimally invasive Urologic Oncology.


In his free time, Dr. Razzaq enjoys tennis, running, and is a film buff.
