John F. McCarthy, M.D.


Dr. John F. McCarthy joined the group in May, 2002. He is a graduate of Georgetown University, Washington, D.C., where he also received his medical degree.


Dr. McCarthy received his surgical and urology training at Washington University/Barnes-Jewish Hospital, where he served as chief resident, division of urologic surgery during his final year. He is board certified in urology.


He was previously in private practice in the St. Louis area, and has served on the faculty of the Washington University School of Medicine.


His area of interests include Laparoscopic Urologic Oncology, Prostate Cancer, and stone disease.
