Joseph Levy, M.D.


Dr. Joseph Levy joined St. Louis Urological Surgeons in December 1998, with the merger of the practice with GU Surgeons, Inc. Dr. Levy has practiced in St. Charles County since 1986, and continues to do so in our St. Peter's and Winghaven offices.


A native of Toronto, Canada, Dr. Levy received his medical degree from Hahneman Medical College, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He served his surgical residency at the University of California - San Diego, and received his urology training at New York University Medical Center. He was board certified in urology in 1985.


Dr. Levy provides general Urological care, and he has special interests in prostate cancer, female incontinence, stone disease, and impotence. He has received training in laparascopic urological surgery, and is a member of the society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons.


Dr. Levy has served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Urology at New York University Medical Center, and he has been chief of surgery at Barnes St. Peter's Hospital and St. Joseph's Health Center.


Dr. Levy is married and the father of four. He enjoys golf, hockey, the piano, and his family.
