Dr. Stephanie L. Cogan-Levy


Dr. Cogan-Levy brings the highly sought after urogynecology specialty to St. Louis Urological Surgeons. She is a highly skilled laparoscopic surgeon.


Laparoscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure, which reduces patient discomfort and recovery time without compromising the goal of the surgical approach. She is recognized also for exploring non-invasive treatment measures, such as physical therapy and pessary insertions.


Dr. Cogan-Levy was born in Montreal. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Anatomical Sciences with honors from McGill University in Montreal and her medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia.


She completed her residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and her fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio. Dr. Cogan-Levy also has an impressive list of published papers and presentations.
